The 2015 International Space Apps Challenge is Open to All

The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space.

Anyone can participate in the International Space Apps Challenge. It requires individuals with a broad range of skills. We are looking for engineers, technologists, scientists, designers, artists, educators, students, entrepreneurs – anyone who has a passion for changing the world and is willing to contribute.

Expanded Warbird’s Ramp at Sun ‘n Fun 15?

I’m hearing reports that the Warbird Ramp at Sun ‘n Fun’s Lakeland Airport has been “expanded”. There are reports that the area of the ramp has been enlarged, and also that the Warbirds of America organization has built a new permanent “clubhouse” for Warbird activities during the Fly-In.

I have a request out to Sun ‘n Fun for more details. I’ll report them as I get them.

Breitling Jet Team to Make 1st U.S. appearance at SUN ‘n FUN

The Breitling Jet Team, a flight of seven L-39 Albatros jets, will begin their first ever US appearance tour at this April’s Sun ‘n Fun Fly-in.



“We are thrilled to announce the 2015 schedule for the Breitling Jet Team,” said Breitling USA
President Thierry Prissert. “It will be the first time North American audiences will have a chance to see them.”
