Nashua Kid to be youngest rotorcraft pilot, for a while anyway.

When we gather for our periodic meetups at Nashua NH’s Boire Field, one of the things you can count on is that there will be some rotorcraft training going on. This kid must have been one of those:

…on Monday, weather permitting, [Robert Wilson] Pinksten will technically be the youngest solo helicopter pilot in the skies — at least until the next whippersnapper flight enthusiast comes along. And he wouldn’t have reached his goal without the generosity of a whole bunch of strangers.

“Monday” would have been today. Hope he did well.

The whole story.
