Dan Gryder is preparing to fly a restored DC-3 from Alaska down to the States lower 48.

    Hey Jack, I doubt if anyone has flown from Alaska “down to the States” since 1958.

    OK you got me. I was thinking about that as I wrote it. I thought I could get away with it. Let’s see if I can come up with an alternative.
